i got a set of drilled and grooved front and rear disc's of ebay for about £100(for them both) and they work just as good as any other drilled and grooved disc's that i have had.they look good to.if u can't find them on MGZR OR MG ZR try rover25 or rover 25

 

Black Diamond discs are a similar price to EBC if you know where to look

If you do get discs from ebay make sure they are a reputable brand, grooving and drilling without a knowledge of why it is done and the safest way to do, could result in severe brake failure if a discs cracks at the wrong time.

With brakes ALWAYS stick to well known brands, they are the only thing that will stop you.

 

MGOC recommend Rossini dsks which seem to be the same as the EBC ones...

I think they are very similar to be honest, depends on what you prefer regarding the looks.

I have Black Diamond grooved discs, though I did get mine done prior to EBC releasing 160 discs, otherwise I would have probably gone for EBC. Then again if you do have a 160 then the only off the shelf out of the 2 is EBC, as Black Diamond don't do 160 discs as yet, you have to get them custom done.

I got EBC disks on my 105, they work so much better than standard discs of course and look the knob. well worth the outlay for better braking performance.

 

EBC 160 discs are £118.99 currently, though that will be going up within the next couple of days due to a price increase from EBC.

 

No i'm in a 105 Steve. But i think I prefer them after looking at them on cars. you can seem them through the wheels lol! makes a whole load of difference!!
