Best bet is to take the door card off and have a fiddle mate

my mates doesnt work in his zed so he got new speakers, and it still doesnt work, any ideas?

 

Check the wiring into the cars ISO plug then again from the bck of the radio,my kept going off then coming on was a spade conn into the plug.

i always feel like i'm breaking the door card when i take it off. how exactly do you do it?

 

I hate doing it too, putting em back on is the hardest part.

You unscrew 2 screws in each of the bottom corners, lower the window and remove window winder (if have one) then just pop off and lift up. :closedey:

Something like that anyway...

 

dont forget to remove the 3 screws from the door handle, also you have to remove the black plastic part behind the inner door handle.

had to do this when lou's passenger window " fell" down!

 

The conduit between the car bodywork and the door is actually a plug and socket at the door end. This can sometimes work loose or get some water in and the contacts can get dirty/corroded. Have a look here as well
