get a k-series out of a caterham r500 evo. 260bhp. revving to 9,500rpm. im sure that will be fast enough
or the new cosworth engine they put in caterhams, 23obhp. that way you can have a brand new engine. pretty sure there both around the 6k mark. and the cosworth iirc is a straight swap.

thats up to himmate but im sick of the shit i get about my car off people who dont no me and have never even seen my car just want to fcuking gossip.. so in all honesty i dont blame him would you go out the way for people take time off from your work to do someones car only to get comments like that thrown around about your workmanship
to be honest i think it will take a lot for dave to be persuaded now which is a real shame as he really enjoyed doing it
its just shows how dissapointing people can be on this forum i used to enjoy coming on here as people were friendly and inviting i dont see much of it now hence why we dont come on here that much anymore.

yep i totally agree people shouldnt just slate the conversion the pics and reliablity speak for themself the workmanship is second to none...people do have feelings and alot of people need to realise that before saying anything... p.s could you get him to pm him if hes still doin them wheather to keep saving or not and we will just keep it between us.. Having never seen or been in a T-Series convertion i would relly like to find out about it. I have gone a stage beyond car wise but would love to see what one is capable of.

well, there's a T-series currently running 700+bhp that's the most i have heard of, that's with uprated everything and after 8 or more years of continual development. the limit is going to be your wallet not the engine put it that way.Zr-ross said:

I think people are debating the reliability of the actual engine (because its a Rover one) rather than the quality of the conversion, I seriously doubt anybody questions the quality of the conversion, more, the quality of the engine. The engine is now 10 + years old so factor in parts (or lack of) etc can cause some concern as well as if there were any major faults with the engine (not really) spliced with some dodgy conversions (thanks Luton) and you have an intresting debate.ZR Saz said:

no offence hob but ive had many little snipes made at me and my driving which leads to reliablity of MY car.... also am constantly seeing MY car bing mentioned what i said had nothing to do with rover in general but what i have had to put up with
