Rant over.

yeah i know!! lol!! good man!! Barrys will be open again come the end of march/start of april!! there isnt actually that many dodgy looking cars about the place any more, you are more likely to find them trying to handbrake somewere rather than having a chat and bit of craic on portstewart prom!!

Prodrift are proud to announce the calendar for the 2007 Prodrift Irl Championship.

The 4 class structure of Pro, Semi-Pro, Novice and Junior Classes will apply across the 6 round championship season.

** In Feb 2007 Prodrift will launch its first sanctioned Prodrift Academy. To ensure that all new competitors have reached a satisfactory level of skill to compete, new entrants to the Prodrift Irl Novice Class will be required to complete a designated Competitor License Academy session prior to actively competing in the Prodrift Irl Series. This does not apply to existing Prodrift Novice competitors.

Further details on Competitor License Academy Sessions will be posted shortly but those wishing to participate should register their interest immediately by emailing information to [email protected] and specifically mentioning 2007 Competitor License Academy.

New for 2007 is the Prodrift Battle of Nations. This will be the first time that international drifters will compete as part of a national team for the pride of their nation at a spectacular end of season drift festival to take place at a high profile location. An Irish team will be joined by teams from Belgium, Holland, Norway, France and the U.K to compete for the 2007 Battle of Nations Cup. Invited Teams will be made up of the Top 3 finishers in the respective National leagues.

More details on all of the above to follow over the coming weeks.

Calendar :

License Day.........Rosegreen, Tipperary........March 10/11th

Round 1..............Mondello Park, Kildare........April 28/29th
Round 2..............Rosegreen, Tipperary.........May 19/20th
Round 3..............Nutts Corner, Belfast.........June 9/10th
Round 4..............Punchestown, Kildare.........July 28/29th
Round 5..............Mondello Park, Kildare........August 18/19th
Round 6..............Rosegreen, Tipperary.........September 22/23rd

Prodrift Battle Of Nations ............................October 20/21st

Please note that due to any unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of the organisers, dates/locations may be subject to change. Adequate notice will be publicly posted in advance of any change to the above schedule.

What's happened it that it's no longer perfect?

I won't be in the ZR this year, but keep an eye out for the new car.

You want to know how unlucky it was...

I did it out side the UUJ in 4pm traffic from Belfast High School.

When was it? Hope it was before the term ended so you had something to keep you occupied.
