MG ZR TD Express.
Hey ya everyone.
I was wondering what I could do to improve the performance of the 2.0 TD express. I would assume the ZR van would be similar engine wise to the diesel car. I have always modded petrol cars having previously owned the 1.8 120BHP. I havent a clue how to mod the diesel and what gains to expect. I had heard that remapping them is a good idea. Any thoughts guys? Cheers Chris. |

there are a few routes you can go..
the most common involves breathing mods 1st(decat - induction kit) - and a pierburgh MAF. then you could get a manual boost controller and whack it up to 19psi - safe point.Or buy a tu1 tuning box - heard these have had great results too. after that you are looking at bigger turbo, injectors etc... expensive route. keep with the l series diesel - think of the mpg ![]() |
