How do I know if my car has a BMW engine?

Just asking because I have been lead to believe that if its a BMW engine then I don't need a cam belt as its chain driven. Mines approaching 60k miles so need to know if cam belt needs changing or not.

No ZR came with a BMW engine, you're confusing it with Land Rover and/or the MG ZT Diesel lol

the only way a zr would have a bmw engine if someone had put it in there themselves.

and they are honda engines btw.

my bad, thought it was originally a honda engine, they did do a K series

Yes but that's the 2.0L type R engine found in the EP3 CTR and DC5 Integra lol.
