S1600 Rally bumper fitting question?

hello all, i've searched and not found this info.

I've got an origional S1600 bumper for my girlfriends ZR which I finally managed to get painted this week, but upon fitting i have come across a problem.

What did you guys do with the plastic wheel arch guard thing as pictured here as i can't see it fitting onto the new bumper.

Also. After reading on here to use Tiger seal to stick our land rover headlights i took the plunge and did some sticking. (messy stuff). Have i done this right? After 12 hours they are stuck solid and I cant see them coming unstuck anytime soon. Should i do anything else to them or is this what other people have done?

Any advice welcome

Personally on the tiger seal aspect, I'd of tried making some kind of brackets/support, as it's a fair weight for the tiger seal to hold whilst the car is bouncing up and down on the roads.

Using tiger seal to bond the lights is advice taken from this forum. The land rover lights are extremely light. Despite their size they actually weigh a lot less than the standard fog lights.

I folded mine in and drilled a hole through the two, then tie wrapped it in so that it could not fly under.
