Spoiler of fail

Whilst at trax Ben (Hyphon12) took a look at my rear spoiler after me telling him something wasnt right with it.It has been loose and everytime I closed the boot something rattled inside it.
Last weekend me and Luke decided to take a closer look, after undoing the 4 bolts we went to lift it away but it would not budge. We pushed pulled and tried to get it off but it wouldnt budge. We managed to get a bit of movement in it but then could see it had been tigersealed in place. It was going to come off one way or another so we spent 2 hours using fishing line and garden strimmer cord to cut through the huge blobs of the stuff.Eventually we got the spoiler off to find the 4 captive nuts were held in with tiger seal and the 3 locating plug had also been stuck on.I think the previous owner had taken the car through a car wash and it ripped off.Anyway as time was getting on we had no choice but to get it back on with yet again more tigerseal and only 2 of the 4 blots holding tight.I ordered a new spoiler of ebay for 60 posted which arrived wuickly and went about fitting it today.
I have now found that aerosol brake cleaner dissolves the adhesive in tigerseal and makes it a lot easier to remove.
Heres some pics of the spoiler and the boot after I cleaned it.
The moral of the tory if the spoiler wont lift when unbolted just leave it alone.
