have you looked at getting it wrapped?
might be cheaper and it temporary so you can peel it off if you dont like it

more epensive than a re-spray belive it or not, there was a complany at FS that does it - way over priced imo

if your wanting it to stand out but still not be too in your face, why not go for a purple of some sort
