I just liked the idea of doing a build-up of my cars progress, and having a specific thread for me to add the 'latest' - so here it is!

When I turned 16 I spent alot of time looking for a 200 bubble for my first car as I always like the shape and style of them! But that said I got a 2001 1lt Corsa to get me started. I kenw I didn't want to keep the car long so didn't do anything to it other than keep it clean! Began my look out for a ZR...

Then came along June 2006, was in a industrial estate when I saw a Rio Red mkII ZR 105 Trophie SE! Loved it!! Was brand new, unregistered. Thought the seller would have been wanting an arm and a leg for it I asked out of curiosity - 8000. Couldn't believe the car was 'only' 8000 since it was unregistered and had only had 36miles on the clock and was the top model of the 105 range! So I had to get this car!!

^^ Thats how she was when I first got her - Looking at it now it looks like it's on uber HUGE stilts!!!

Then mods were:
  • De-badge the rear
  • Add wind deflectors
  • And the all important air freshener!

^^^ Kept it clean all importantly!

Then along came the better mods came along:
  • De-wipered the rear
  • Painted the calipers
  • Painted the front fog surronds
  • and the all important coilovers....

More Pics whoring....

Basically that is how she sits at the moment, I am pleased at the minute but do have more plans...

Just purchased these:

and a set of 620Ti front caliper and carriers!

I will keep this updated with anything that matters!!

MG ZR FTMFW!!

Just hope that the idea of Build-up's on this site are liked, I think it's a really good idea and give other people to see the work that has went into making some great cars!

Would love to see more people making build-ups of their cars so that they can keep posting updats in the same thread rather than in new threads each time...

Just a wee thought!!

Sorry to go off topic!!
