the gixxers do look nice, i was speaking to a man at work who had a gsxr1000 and he got to sscared of it power and got a gsxr750.

If this is going to be your first bike, why you looking at 750's, afterall you will be a learner. If i was you i would be (well i am) looking at a used cheap bike in the 400-500cc bracket because maby you might find out bikeing is not your thing, also if you drop/ fall off the bike it wont be so upsetting. Then if you like biking and have some talent then get a gixxer 750

i had a daytona 600 for my first big bike and i would have another 1 over any bike, i have been on a r6, gixxer, millie r and loads of zx6s and although my daytona wasnt as fast it was a far better ride and not as harsh on the wrists. plus at 17 insurance was half the price lol keep in mind they are british to and little things do fall off haha
