bike problems
 
this morning when i took the bike for a burn, when i tryed to change up a gear the gear selector went solid, now this happend a few times and i got abit anoyed. went out on the bike again tonight and the same problem happend again. also when i am in 5th gear it will jump out of gear sometimes.

would someone be able to help me.

have you got any oil in the box? These Aprilia's are good when they work but break far too often, best bet is to sell all buy a four stroke.

Might need adjusting, or as said check the oil level.

oil is fine, dont get any 4-stroke 50's, ye this bikes are reliable the only thing is the pick up coil usualy break and the piston seizing

its probably the gear selector spring thats either come loose or broken. does the problem only happen in 5th tho? if so then itl be sumthin in the gearbox itself. pretty straight forward on a 2 stroke

no it usually happens in 2nd and 3rd gear. the bike will also jump out of gear in 5th, i think it is time to take the fairings off for the third time this week and have a look around. thanks for the help.

the night i changed the gear oil to see if that would make any difference to the problem and well i found this

so got all that done and the sprockets changed when it got to dark for me to go and test drive the bike so it will have to wait till tomorrow :(
