Nice motor. I've got a 1.6 Ford Focus Mk1 zetec. It's a comfortable drive and it's my daily car for work etc. I do like it but it's very slow so it bores me quickly. I do fancy a new daily but can't afford one so will stick with it for the time being. Starting to get a little rusty but drives perfectly and only got 58k on clock.

Had a mk1 1.6 auto, when I had problems with my knee. Was nice, but a bit boring. Went for a 30 mile blast last night.......hell of a difference, no hesitation when pulling off, turbo lag greatly reduced, and mpg has increased. Great result for 40.

You got rid of the lady? Why?? Nice focus though, I'm not a big european Ford fan prefer the american stuff, but a tidy motor none the less

P.S you might have issues with ground clearance next time you go off road

Just that time mate, cost mainly as I hardly use it and haven't got time to green laning anyone.....plus just end up doing the same old lanes. So can't really justify having a 4x4 anymore. Will miss it, but got the project mk3 Escort to keep me entertained.

Fair point, guess you've had your fun with it so time to move on. Look forward to updates on both projects

Most updates will be on the Escort, that's what it's for......just little tweaks to the focus.
