Dipped dash on the Giulietta

For those that haven't seen the pictures on FB, I had the dash dipped on the Alfa. Originally the dash came out looking like this:



This was OK but the interior of the Giulietta is balck and red so this 'purple' looked out of place. The supplier that sent the stuff knew it was purple but as it said red on the tin still sold it as such! Anyway it was returned to Aquagraphix and after around 6 or so coats of candy and several pearl smoke tint this is what it looks like now:

Looks much better when the interior is lit as all the display is red and the dash picks this up as well. Next thing is to tie in the engine cover. Done the shiny bling bit with the ZR so want to go in a different direction with the G

Like a lot of forums, if you do something 'different' there is lots of dummy spitting. The initial colour wasn't liked at all and with hindsight they were right, but generally it seems to be liked now the colour has been changed.
