Busy couple of hours

I've been collecting bits and bobs over the last couple of months as well as waiting on my mate to machine me some adapters that i designed. he was nice enough to draw them on CAD as well

So today i removed all the existing Air intake and replace it all with my own stuff using the K&N cone filter and the typhoon intake that i have already fitted. The K&N that was in there looked well over due a clean any way so will do that in the coming days and store it away given the unique design of the 260's system.

It all fits nicely in the bumper and sits about the same heights as the original did so water shouldn't be an issue. System is filter, adapter, viper 89mm straight coupler, 89mm aluminum joiner, samco 89mm 90 degree bend, adapter, MAF, samco 89mm - 76mm 90 degree bend, K&N typhoon intake, samco coupler then to my 75mm accufab throttle body and plenum.

original draws air from inside the engine bay which given the 4.6 V8 and the heat that is generated i've always thought odd to have designed it that way but then i'm sure MGR spent enough money on it for a reason.

next to finish my carbon projects.
