New Shafz Mobile - SVK (Shafz Vag Klan)

Since the Rovers gone, got myself a new cruising machine

POOL PARTY!

Picked up myself a Octavia vRS in black, loving the power compared to the 105 i had! managed to pick this up for not much more then i sold the rover for.
For those who are not familiar with this car, it is a 1.8 20v turbo, 180bhp stock, but this one has been tweeked a bit by previous owner, got a Blueflame Exhaust system, k04 Turbo, pipercross induction kit, forge re-circ valve, remap and a few other things (im guessing its easily running over 200)

have a few plans - tints, coillies, FMIC, sports cat and then custom remap

anyway il let the pics do the talking, massive thanks to fellow SVK member Viper8 for taking the time out to take some snaps for me

and a few crappy snaps i took

Awesome cars. Right amount of power, good handling, plenty of space for a few and they are good fun to drive. I especially like the steering, even though its powered, its still heavy enough to feel where the car is. Used to drive them at work until they got changed rather cruely to a less petrol hungry car.

But thats mainly cause of speed humps, just be wary of those as the sump will catch, either cracking or the sump plug gets damaged and then cost a load to replace.

Just be wary of the old cream carpets, they stain so easily and when stained they're a bugger to really clean. EML are a real pain on these cars as well, as they activate to tell you the radios not working and all sorts of weird stuff like that. But forgive these moments for when you take it down a country road. They are truly awesome there. I miss them

defo mate, just have to learn to put the power down properly...starting to master how to get a good start without wheel spinning, so easy to do on this car.

ah yeah, true! i wet and dry vac'ed it today and got the bulk of it off..some of its perma marked but luckly gets hidden by the car mats...just need to find some genuine vRS ones now rather then the crappy universal ones i have atm
no EML problems as of yet...cars been taken car off, got full service history and shed loads of receipts
