What gram carbon fibre matting you using and I do like the sound of carbon and kevlar - could you get a carbon fibre and kevlar combination matt? Yet again, you dont need the whole diffuser to be reinforced with kevlar - only the bits where it would be the most brittle, ie bottom edges...

Hell, vacuum infusion is a simple process, lay up the matting where you want it, and bang.... done

Im going to have to change the design slightly, getting the diffuser to release from the mold is a right pain in its current design where the outside edges curve inwards, this has been modified slightly so they curve outwards if that makes sense?

Looks slightly different but on the whole the design looks the same from afar. Just means I dont have to mold one layer which is quite flexable, then mold the remaining layers upon that. FYI - 6 ply wont come out the mold and results in a mess with a hacksaw.
