Engine Problems
Hi,
Needed some help and although it not an MG thought that someone could help me out? My friends Renault clio 55' Reg, 105,000 miles - struggles to start and is chugging quite badly in 2nd the car hasn't had a service in a long time Any ideas on what is causing this would be great, thanks! |

Bit more information:
Once car is warmed up there is no problem with second gear chugging, and sometimes it will start and then struggles to keep started and then just dies |

Oil in throttle body, air filter and inlet manifold pipes
on 55 reg petrol 1.2 Renault clio there is Oil in throttle body, air filter and inlet manifold pipes, why is it doing this? any help would be great!

Ah 16v. thought you were on about a 8v. iirc they're in the cam cover on the 16v, problem is you can't replace them separately and got to replace the cam cover. (Assuming its a D4F engine).
You'd probably be better blanking off the breather from the inlet and use a catch tank.
