Seat removal?
Going to be removing the seats to deaden the floor in my MG. Am I right in thinking that their held down by 4 Torx bolts? And if so, what size? Will I need some sort of electricity to undo/redo them or can it be done by hand?

Welcome to the forum
![]() They are Torx size T50, four holding each seat frame to the floorpan. A T50 torx bit and a suitable socket set/ratchet/breaker bar to hold it and some brute force and ignorance should suffice. You may find some of the threads have rusted and will take some force to break them off initially - putting the torx bit into the bolt and give it a sound whack with a hammer will often crack the rust and allow them to move. |

Awesome, cheers mate.
Any other problems I'm likely to run into? Can't say I'm looking forward to playing with the seatbelt spool bits too much.... |
