and new turbo picked up . i will only be running the car in on this turbo once i have run the engine in i will be swapping it out for a gtx28 ball bearing turbo.

this unit its bascially a t28 hot side with a t3 cold side running a much bigger billet compressor wheel over standard . usingthe t3 housing avoids the adapters needed and using the std t25 core avoids any changes needed their as well so it will bolt straight on after i sort the angles out a bit.

comparisson against a std t25 . and the middle compressor wheel is a t28 compressor wheel .

and welding has started on the front end .

reinforcing the chassis rails and turret tops due to roversport suspension going in

looks a mess now but it will be fine once painted and sanded a bit.

also modding the front slam panel to take the bigger roversport radiator.

more updates at the weekend

well poped in and some progress has been made

one rear quater has started to be put on and welded .

test fitting the new sill bit that hes made up . with the grooves . hes going to be making me ten full sets of these so that i can offer them to other people as and when they need them .

its amasing at how dented and out of shape this side was being the passenger side . the drives side is no where near as dented

most the stich welding at the front end has been done and finished . just got to be shot blasted back again . the whole bay will be done and then painted.

fitted the turbo on to the engine .

its very tight and i need to change the actuator for a different one as the vac hose pipe is no good where it is .

i managed to find a set of jap arches for the car so that completes the set of front back jap plates arches and flare holder lol

thats it for now really . update next weekend .

hes asked for the rear lights to test fit to make sure its all correct and the back before he does the final welds at the back of the car as theirs 2 mm play/movement in the back and he wants it spot on .
