370BHP ZR Track Car
In case you've not seen it over on Rovertech here is our little build which has taken a couple of years so far

I forgot to get any pics when it arrived, but it was a tidy ZR 160

As it looked stripped, almost ready for the Custom Cages International weld in roll cage, which I'm not looking forward to fitting

Nearly finished playing with the scaffolding

Caliper brakets made and 330mm front brakes now fitted with brembo radials

A bit of paint

M Series manifold modified to take the Cosworth throttle body

And then onto the fuel lines

Still need to tig weld the return line at the 90 bend

And fix the 044 pump and tank

After removing the front of the car including the cross member the RS500 cooler was fitted into place

Then it was time to warm up the TIG and make a water return pipe

Whilst the TIG was out it was time to make the air intake

Finally the MIG was dragged out to knock up some alternator brakets

All fitted into place with MGF hydraulic clutch setup showing

Alternator brackets done and mounted

Electric waper pump going in

Electric power steering pump going in

Last of the boost pipes being fabricated, just the welding to do

Top water hose

Hydraulic clutch done, incorporating coil pack mount

Rear brake lines going in

Quickshift made ready to fit when the box goes back in

Spherical rear top mounts fitted, plus fuel pump wiring and pipe work completed

Whilst playing with wires I decided to replace all the dash gauges for Stack ones

Downpipe closeups

Doors done

Tailgate lightened

Fibreglass bonnet fitted

Front engine mount made up

Oil cooler fitted and connected

Front engine mount fininshed and VibraTechnics installed

I wasn't happy with the pedal box so I cut the floor and bulkhead out, modified the pedal box and moved it all down and forward

Manged to get another 60mm of leg room

Finally started fitting the door cards

Got the car weighed with all remaining parts in the car along with fluids and it came in at 930kg which isn't too bad considering the T16 weight

Been a while but it is finished

New brakes

Sneaky peak of the final look

Swirl pot fitted to fuel system

Engine bay complete

Front end complete, including fiberglass bonnet and splitter

Dyno printout

Thought I remembered talking about it on PF, not been on there since I sold the MK5 RS2000 track car ages ago
