Sports Cat or De-Cat

Hello All.

Looking to complete my Janspeed system with a Janspeed Sports Cat or Janspeed De-Cat.

Ideally I wanted the sports cat, however having looked up prices its around the 250 mark.. and the De-Cats can be bought for almost half this.

Whats the Pro's/Con's of both?
The Sports Cat really worth double the money?

pro of sports cat is performance.

pro of de-cat is noise (if you like that kinda thing)

downside of sports cat is... price

downside of de-cat is it will fail emmisions and you will lose power

It matters not, what Bristol said is dead-on.

That said, if it's a 105 then the sports cat won't really do much anyway.

id rather a cat than no cat.

sports cat ftw.

no ones mentioned how much more fuel you will use with a de cat

i hear cars with no cat, and it doesnt sound good imo.

sounds broken, sounds like the cats blown out....
