If it was me mate ring em and quick. My last insurance company got done for 22000 pound through a similar scam and i was the one who took the brunt. Ring them and explain to them! Its well worth it

if you took pictures of her van and she claims of damage that is not the same in the pictures the claim in theory should get dropped as a fraudulent claim i wouldn't worry unless a call comes in

She can claim for quite a while afterwards. Worth taking pics so she can't claim for more damage than there is however if there is underlying damage that they can reasonably assume was caused by you hitting her then she can claim for this.

Unfortunately for you though it will definitely be your insurance that has to pay up as it is your fault.

It will all get sorted anyhow, if she claims there's not much you can do if she doesn't then be happy with the luck.

Unless you have independent witnesses then it will go 'knock for knock' even with photos as photos can be faked/shopped to show more/less damage etc.

If you have driver legal aid then it is worth contacting them for advice/help, it is also mandatory to notify your insurance company even if there is no claim.

If you have her registration and vehicle make then you can check if she is insured on the Askmid web page
