My zed's first mot (under my ownership) is in September...

****ting it as I have no idea what to expect them to come back with, think i'll try to get it checked a few weeks beforehand so I have a rough idea!!

any general tips i should pick up on??

The general stuff really...

Take it for a good thrashing before hand.....

gets rid of **** in the engine i hear, and good for if you got a sports cat fitted as the emmissions will be higher if its running from cold, IIRC

Ah... see I'm a noob, I wouldn't have thought of that!

I don't have anything fitted at all tbh, cars completely standard atm... once it passes its MOT I plan to start getting things done to it :)

Well with a big magnex exhaust and pipercros open cone my emissions jsut passed

Aint that the truth. If I don't thrash it, it will struggle to pass the emissions test :D

I remember jamie who had the PTP conversion on it, he had to take his for a nice run 3 times beofre it passed.. lol.. he was most annoyed.... cos the first few times they left it to cool down

Luckily I have a fair few by passes and back roads where I live then :D lol

I ****ed up when quoting berto and i think thats had a knock on effect on all other quotes.... :axe:

I'm not quoting because its broken but yeah it needs a good few miles on the dual carraigeway to get warm enough and then straight in, no messing about at the garage, it needs to be done instantly!
