whats quicker a zr 1.4 or a rover 1.6 as i am thinking of converting my car but isit worth it i can get the whole lot for 200 from ktmracing

you will have more torque and about 7 bhp more (ish), its not alot quicker, but noticeable, if you want it go for it.

ive owned a 1.4 before and have a 1.6 now. so much more noticable. especially when you have others in the car.

there is a difference, just not massive, i used to have a 214 and my brother had a 216, i drove both, and the difference isnt massive but is there,as i said above. and feeling it more when u have passengers, is the torque, again, like i mentioned above....

Wont a 200 engine have a dizzy though? where as the ZR uses coil packs.

I did 1.4 to 1.6 conversion on my old 200 cabriolet. Not for performance issues just due the the fact the 1.4 had HGF and i had a spare 1.6 in the garage. To be honest for the amount of differance felt its not worth the hassle imo.
