I've currently got the stock Kenwood CD Player in my car.

But I want to put this monster in (with this hard drive), but will dropping from 4x50Watt power out to 4x35W affect me in any way?

I know *nothing* about car ICE, but this did seem like a good question 8-[ :-$

4x50 and 4x35 are both MAX ratings (unless they carry the RMS abbreviation but 9/10 its max power) now these "max" ratings will only be outputted by a few miliseconds at the most every now n again so dont really mean much, 4x50 is about 4x25wrms and 4x35 is about 4x20wrms

rms = root mean square which is basically the nominal output power at which said unit works at

now you say will dropping from this to this effect anything.... IMO no not really, every speaker should be amped in any setup but if its just to drive a cheap set of replacement speakers or OE speakers its fine, u shouldnt see too much difference
