Finally got around to timing my Zed. Nothing technical mind, simply a straight piece of road and a stop watch (over 3 runs).

If you remember, my Corsa (P reg, 1.2) was 0-60 in 19.85 seconds.

105 ZR 0-60 10.22 Seconds

That was with a full tank and in 2nd. Now, do you reckon I'd get a faster time changing up to 3rd or doing what I did and redlining it in 2nd at 60?

(10.22, 10.24, 10.22)

err 10 seconds is roughly correct, tbh if you want faster times, without having to practice day in day out, increace the bhp :D

Not fussed about faster times, and modding power means more insurance and I'm broke!!

Just wondered about the gearing cos I know the power curves drop off a bit at the end (I think?) so maybe switching to 3rd at 50 would be better....

Not sure about that like ... Just bang on a decent enclosed air filter and a aftermarket stainless steel cat back zorst and it shud give you a small increase....

go for the full zorst if you want more power tho.
