i phoned a few places for quotes on a new window screen and cheapest i got was with Autoglass over £300! wtf i thought it'd be cheaper than that

autoglass wanted £75 to fix a chip on my windscreen smaller than a 5p piece.
have you been to any smaller dealers rather than the big names?

2.I Paid about £120 fully fitted for a new screen not long ago. Do you have a company called Screen Saver near you?

ok 2 new quotes for me 1 place £120 + VAT fitted
and other place £125 + VAT fitted

im a bit happier now lol

Mines £70 for windscreens...

Most if not all insurance will cover it with cheap excess...

yep no effect on ncb think mines £50 for a new screen and can claim 3 times a year.

i have no idea about mine, would 3rd party cover it? its all im insured by atm to save me money. i looked through my policy paperwork nowt said about it, my insurer is endsleigh pricey bstuds

I don't think third party will cover it as my sis had to pay for a new screen on hers.

i know mine was 50 with admiral then went up to 70 which is where most insureres have set thier price iirc!

problem solved its getting done at 9am tomorrow ..... help from a friend got me a windscreen + fitting for £90
