Forget the name of the guy who had that mint black 54 reg ZR who allways won the shows. It is pictured with the mint Ignition Blue ZR also a 54 reg. What happened to the owners & those 2 cars & the Green diesel ZR B16 ***?

How many of those cars still exist? Can't believe where the time has gone TBH. It does bring back memmories when you read threads like this & in a way is quite sad as it reminds us that MGR is no more & all these fine cars & to a degree the events we all attended etc are slowly disapearing never to be replaced.

if it's the blue turbo with shopping list down the door that was big leigh's that car as far as I'm aware is still a bonkers spec and a lad on Rovertech now has it

the other one thats in a moving shot with the black mk2 was the lad who sold the jdl body kits on here

i think his name was same but could be wrong
