Ive been trying to find information on using an 820 engine, so far ive done the cam side plate and mount, the front mount, but what do i do for the rear? i have the 220 brackets but dont see how they join to the gearbox engine plate.

sound like you might want to get ur car plugged into a diagnostic machine to see what's happening.
and I would check the electrical connections associated with the VVC.
