I noticed steam in my angel eyes the first nigth after fitting. I assumed it was just a one off cos theyd been sat in damp conditions for a while with the backs off....

but its happened again today with all this rain.....i dont want to believe there not sealed properly cos for £150 they ****ing well should be.....plus i cant be arsed to take the bumper off to seal them...

has anyone else had this problem with there angel eyes?......im guessing this is what leads to them failing too?

The std lights did this too when new.

In there case the steaming went away 99% of the time

try leaving the caps off until the steam goes then put them back on....worked for me on my foglights

so u guys recon itll go over time then?.....so no need to rip the bumper off and coat with sealant?..

im just a bit paranoid that the moisture is gonna fry the lights!!

righto.....so pardon me form sounding daft yea.....my best bet is to leave the caps off on a nice hot day...maybe go for a drive about, get them nice and warm...

Take the caps off try and clean inside with a cloth or something, leave the caps off overnight to air off and tomorrow they should be fine

I too live teesside, but with your bonnet closed it should be ok, or take the unit out, and leave it inside

Ive just sorted my fog lamp out an hour ago due to the same problem
