as far as im aware the fitting is easier than fitting new springs cos you dont have to mess about with spring compressors since the whole shock is being replaced.

havent got a clue about the setting up though!

Actually bolting them in is easy yes, this bit you can do but you'll need the geometry setting up when they're fitted, unless you've got the £5k+ worth of equipment to set the Castor, Camber and Ride Height then up I wouldn't bother fitting them yourself.

Its about £100 - £200 for the geometry setting up at any decent motorsport specialist.

Your problem will be driving the car with the coilovers on until you can get it set up, you could have problems like, uneven wear on the tyres, excess wear on the tyres, wandering at any speed, severe wandering under braking etc

Personally I'd recommend saving and paying for them fitting and setting up.

Thats upto you, personally I wouldn't want to drive a car thats not got properly set up suspension, the police would have a field day if you have an accident. Wheel alignment is part of the MOT, if its not set up properly and you lose control and crash because of it, means your car isn't road worthy and insurance payout is unlikely.

I fitted mine myself which is easy, its just what BULLIT said that its hard to set them up. Personally i would have a go myself but alow alot of time to do it because some of the bolts are really tough.

Another thing is measure them all before fitting to get them all the same height.
