Hey,

Am looking to lower my stock r25 to the zr stock height, i believe the r25 is 40mm higher than a ZR, can i just buy zr springs? or are they different shocks and all that?

I had a look around and saw i can get GMAX and Xpower springs that lower by 40mm for £100 ish new. But i dont know which would be the best ride/best quality, if any.

Im NOT looking to go lower than a ZR, imo the zeds look just about right.

I've defo wrote or posted on a thread of the same question. ZR springs would suffice on 25 dampers, this is what I had on my car. Any further lowering would require ZR or aftermarket dampers

ZR springs are no good on R25 dampers, the springs will end up popping out of the cups.

If you do that then you may aswell be riding on cut springs.

Thats just 1 case, alot of people of put ZR lowering springs on 25 dampers and they've popped out of the cups. It's quite dangerous tbh.
