so my Zed usually ticks at about 700/800rpm but recently after driving for 10mins or so and i come to a standstill it ticks at around 1400rpm which obviously isnt right. as soon as i put my foot on the accelerator it sorts its self out and goes back down to normal.

anyone have any ideas why its doing this?

could be a sticky throttle body or icv problem mate

i wouldnt worry to much how tight is your throttle cable?

Is it a 105... mk1 or mk2...

Didn't some of the mk1's come with a plastic TB

105 mk1 and yes they did

its probs a sticky tb then mate spesh as as u tap the throttle pedel it sorts it out

get on ebay and get yourself a alloy 48 or 52mm TB, far far better.... dont warp with the heat
