Hi my radiator was steaming the other day after car had overheated so obviously its now ****ed (hoping head gasket is still alright after) my m8 has got one that he bought for his rover 200 a few month ago but never fitted it he said i can have but will it fit my zr?

was it raining?(outside water on the rad).check the fan/fuse before wasting money on a new rad.could be simple as a fuse blowen.

no m8 it overheated and when popped bonnet was steam coming out of what i presume was a hole in the radiator. what do u think chance of my gasket being ok are?

was there mayo anywhere?oil cap/expansion tank.how long did you drive it for in tht con?

no no mayo anwhere m8 and coolant tak is still good not gone all moudy or anything. about 10miles

buy your mates rad.take it you know how to bleed the coolant system?

after that start it up and hope for the best.

did you notice and change in the car when driving it in the current state?

did it stool when on idling/dipped the cluch?

no m8 no change in the car what so ever i though i had jus run out of water so put more water in and everything like normal agian but then after 30 min water had all gone again and was overheating
