That brings back some good memories.

Thanks for posting them again Baz. Amazing how different many of the cars look now from then in such a short space of time

 I remember Si showing us his freshly re-attached manifold after the NOS incident.

He had the car in for some work and apparently the people there had reconnected his NOS or something else incorrectly. The result was that he managed to blow the whole of the exhaust manifold off the car :dunno:

well they fixed the car and then i came to the conclusion after long chats with droog that its not a good idea to have nos. well not for me. and i was pissed wen it happened.

it sheered the downpipe off the manifold and blew the manifold off the block of the car.

and tbh i aint touchin the stuff eva again.

and if i do gonna strengthen the whol block leave no stone un-turned.

and oi the nos incident was far from funny at the time. and droog you ahd a chuckle with me after tho.

but my car sounded like a v8 stock car monster wen it hapened tho. lol

im carless again atm coz in bein tinkered with
new ecu
re-map
chip
cams
gearbox
clutch
new air feeds goin in
new zorst system
and new manifold
(so old zorsts and manifold up for sale and the system is a straight through system 2 1/2" pipe work (straight off the manifold) all the way through) with a one off mozart racin box (off a prelude)
