dont think the k series would handle it well wont be able to use loads

heres the real deal.

any engine can handle nitrous.
every engine can only handle so much nitrous.
i put more in mine than it can handle.
it died.

end of story,lol

wilky, the truth is the 1.4 would be fine on nitrous if it was used conservatively, eg 25 bhp. it might not sound a lot but i promise you it is.

dont listen to the nay-sayers who dont really know a great deal about it but feel that its their place to tell you it will anihilate your engine anyway :)

if you want to discus it furthur with me feel free.

just to add, and there will of course be contradiction to this from other people, but this is my opinion...

buying anything other than wizards of nos hardware will increase your likelyhood of having problems, as theirs is the only gear, again imo, that is worth fitting.

i can back this up with design aspects if anybody wishes me to.

doubt it i dont think anyone is that stupid tbh
i was stupid enough to stick nos on a 1.4 lol.
i used the ny-trex tripple threat kit. it came with diffrent bhp valves.
i used the lowest it comes with witch is 35bhp nos jets.
i was told be the developers of this kit that it would be ok to run 35bhp of nos on the rover 1.4 engine.

it works but not that much so you notice a great diffrence.

lol, if your not noticing a great difference with 35 bhp against the normal 105, its not fitted right mate, or it could just be that its nytrex and isnt developing 35 bhp like it should.

25bhp on my 1.8 120 with a WoN kit made a VERY noticeable difference.

this was on a 86bhp rover 25 lol.
i didnt notice a diffrence maybe because it was coming through a progressive controller.
i noticed abit more grunt in 3rd gear but not enough to make me think wow lol.

hmmm, either way mate, something was definitely wrong there. thats over a third power increase, should have been very noticeable in first second and third even with a progressive, although i wouldnt trust anything from america to pulse safely...

Christ, we aint had a NOS thread since Darren was around...

Thought nobody uses NOS now since its ghey, like having a Burberry cap or something... ;)
