Have to say, I've always liked WRC, but other than that I'd never had an interest in going to see any form of racing until I was at The Scottish Tuning Show last month... watching the track cars was awesome! Really need to start project Metro.

You should see the GT racing series, I've not heard anything louder than the Ferrari 550LM, its was deafening beyond belief!!

You should have heard the Lambo at Le Mans, It was the best sounding car in the field.

WRC is class. Shame it's on Dave.

Drivers who aren't too egotistical to speak to the odd reporter/member of the public. Always funny when someone interviews Gronholm after a bad stage. He is so angry with himself and the car and other drivers and yet he'll still speak to a daft muppet with a mic. Hats off to them.

FYI I was karting at the weekend. What a blast. Lost 2nd place on the second last lap by pushing too hard to catch the leader. I was on his tail when I spun out. I then waited for two carts to clear before heading off again, little did I know that they were sitting in 3rd and 4th place.:slap:

I would love to get into motor sport, but just can't justify the cost. :(

its just to get us into it properly

i came across it quite easly our mate crashed his car but it was only cosmetic damage so he didnt want to go through the insurance, so we got the car for £350 and it doesnt need anything special just stripping :)

Autosolos are a cracking way to get into a basic motorsport as they are so cheap to do.

The Motorclub I belong to did one the other week, £20 entry + £15 to hire the club car to do it in, sure it's an old Rover 216 but if everyone's in the same car who cares.

Sprints are quite cheap too, but you need more of a specialist car for these
