The gasket itself is a very cheap part and is apparantly easy too fit! - Although I have no personal experiance of this...

If you catch it now, you may find problem solved before it starts! The expensive part of an HGF is repairing the damage onces its happened, like skimming the head etc...

the head gasket doesn't usually fail of it's own accord as they are uprated now and it's unusual on any k-series built after around 2000.

it's usually caused by something else so 'just' replacing the gasket will not cure the problem because it will just start to blow again.

take it in to a dealer and get it pressure tested and let them diagnose the problem and take it from there.

it is better to get the problem sorted now b4 it causes any real damage.
