I have a mg zr a 55 plate yesterday I went out shopping and when to start the car and there was nothing
Had to leave my car in the supermarket car park went back later as needed to sort getting it picked up and it turned over 1st time and started

But gone to it this morning the light is on but just wont make the noise as it normally does n car won***8217;t turn over

Can someone please help or explain what it may be

I would start by checking the earth strap connections on the front slam panel and N/S inner wing - corroded connectors are a common cause of such symptoms. Also check the connections to the starter motor as these can sometimes come loose or corroded (or sometimes frayed).
