i have recently bought a new cd player off my m8 but i have connected all my sub and amp up but there doesnt seem to coming anything out of them. the only thing not coonected is the remote start but with out that they should stil work shoudnt they. what could be the problem

Remote start?
do you mean remote wire?

the remote wire from the headunit sends a signal to the amp to switch it on, if its not connected, amp wont power on

trus tme mate, shafz is right, if the remote wire isnt connected, it wont wrk

remote wire has to be connected. Also check that its earthed with a good un treated part of the car. Another good thing is keep the speaker cable short as possible so more power gets through. If you need any more help PM me i fit sound systems.
