does anyone know how i would go about getting discs on the back of my car, do i need a replacement beam? or has anyone done this, if not might just get bigger discs and new calipers at the front... :-k
If you are thinking about changing the rear beam don't go for a 200Vi one if you can help it - the beam itself isn't as stiff as the 25/ZR so the car wouldn't handle quite so well. Believe this is the reason 200s had a rear anti-roll bar and ZRs don't.
Sorry, didn't make that very clear - what I meant was the ZR/25 actual torsion bar is alot stiffer than the 200s, which is why MG R didn't fit a rear anti roll bar to the 160 and TDs where equivalent 200 models had them . Fitting a 200 rear beam with discs would be a retrograde step handling wise. (But I've no idea by how much!)
