always thought his prices where high but he had a bootlid listed that ive been looking for for a long time in the right colour and it got knocked down from £200 to £170, plus 55 postage, expensive but had the advantage of not needing painted, item listed as being in good condition

recieved the bootlid, has an outwards dent where the hinges go into the boot on the outer skin, i suspect where it was removed from the car and its dropped down the hinge, also the outer face of the bootlid is a different shade of silver across the whole lower half of the lid like its been blended in poorly

emailed him including pictures and he emailed me back with this

well those marks where certainly not on the boot lid we sent you, it was from my zsx which was immaculate. One thing you need to bear in mind here is as stated in all our used listings ''Used: An item that has been previously used. The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear''. We sell these for 150 that need spraying so really 170 was an absolute bargain, one even left today.

best thing to do is call one of our team tomorrow between the hours of 9am-3pm if you wish to discuss the matter further.

Best regards

CW Vehicle Dismantlers

so maybe avoid buying from him in the future incase you end up with the same problem, his prices really are extortionate too.

Well after my reply email last night they phoned me at 9 this morning, they still denied it was them and said it was done in transit, how can an outward dent happen in transit, so told them straight excactly how it would have happened, he told me I could send it back but my postage costs wouldnt be refunded, told him that wasnt an option as i'd then be 110 out of pocket and have no product
So he offered me 20 off, I declined and he said he could stretch to 30, so I decided to cut my losses and take it

still feeling a little pissed by it all to be honest and dont know if i would use them again.
so can make your own mind up i think

well he seemed to kind of back down after i told him the only way it could have got an outwards dent like that was either on removal or its always been like that, a few people.
just decided 30 was vbetter than nothing in the end so just took it.
on the zs site have said they have had troubles too so weve decided to leave the thread open on there just now, that way people can make theyre own minds up

i mean for example you buy a panel, its damaged you want to return it hes not even willing to cover the postage costs, doesnt add up to me

Dont deal with these people
I bought a janspeed cat back from them, when it turnt up the back box seam was split and needed welding plus I had to drill out a snapped stud on the centre section that joins to the cat of the exhaust.
It didnt take much work to fix but still it was listed as good condition, I couldnt be asked to argue tbh.

Was this an ebay deal ? If so did you pay using paypal ? You will be covered. Open a paypal case against him saying the items weren't as described. The chances are you will win it and the money will be refunded to you.
