Explain the possible signs which would lead to your cluch needing replacement.

pull up facing a high kerb

put it in 4th gear if it pulls up the kerb the clutch is about fooked

n e other ways i can test if me clutch is fuckalo joe'd...

and if i held me clutch at the bite i could probs get up the kurb in 4th like lol

if your bite point is pretty high thats a good sign, or move off in a high gear an fuly let out the clutch stick down the accelerator if the revs rise too fast without much movement then the clutch is slipping an most likely fooked. hope that makes sense for ya!

..you mean like trying to drive onto a footpath from the road in 4th? with or without revs?

so if your clutch is fooked you will make it onto the footpath? and if not you will stall?

I've had concerns on my clutch for a bit also, my car is 2 years old, done around 33k miles and find that the bite is very high (in fact my knee hits my chin) and also been getting a smell of burning when holding the car on the clutch for short periods. It isn't easy to wheel spin either (not that I try)

Another issue for the dealer me thinks....

yeah thats the same prob here ..

get someone to follow you when you floor the car too i bet you it stinks ... i thought it was my cat but the clutch is suposed to have a uniqe smell haha sort of.
