as above is there much difference between them apart from the noise?

could someone comment on

pipercross closed and panel

itg closed and panel

k&n closed and panel

.........oh its for a zr 160vvc

panel filter will just be less restrictive and no increase in noise or engine note....

Open cone, loud noise, extra air, Work well when moving, not so good in traffic, as they gather heat from the engine

Enclosed, probably the best, give a note change, not as loud as open cone, don't usually suffer from heat soak, and give a fe ponies extra... just got to be careful or CAF placement....

ITG carbon one it the daddy, and wants to be for £400+

k&n not sure, pipercross viper is good, and so is BMC CDA
