Hi i have recently found i have a leak, and was wondering is it easy to lift all the carpet up in the passenger well?

should be ok then, easier if u can get someone to hold it whil u underneath thou, if u do wanna take it out theres a thread on here saying how or just ready hayne book for idiots its helped me out a few times finding scres i never knew where in places

Are you sure the heater matrix isn't leaking. Has your coolant level gone down?

i think i had this prob as i had a leak but never found out what it was but had the heaqter matrix replaced when i had engine conversion done

smells like normal water tho if that makes any difference, plus it was also in the boot, some one said could be sunroof seals but i dont have a sunroof.

mine smelt like normal water! and i dint know inside of car was wet till i lifted up carpet and it was sloshing round like mad lol! bu thats cus my heater matrix gave up the ghost!

yeh i didnt know till i looked under the carpet, so it could be that then, is that an expensive job?

the whole dash has to come out ******! so if you get parts and DIY its not too expensive i got my matrix for 35 quid. but if you dont wanna do it your looking few quid and might be hard pushed to get some one to do it tbf

oh right great lol, is there any guides or links on here on how to do it?

errr not sure but tbf i was told it what worse than what i found it to be tho. just have to take your time. centre console is piece off pee.

only fiddly things really is disconnecting the wires from switches far right hand side (light adjustment and wing mirrors, if you have elec mirrors that is (cut my hand open tryin to get them out)

but like i said take time and just remember that the metal behind is very sharp!

oh and btw! turn your temp to cold whilst driving around! leave it on hot and it will be pumping as much water as it can into your footwell!
