is it hard to fit brake pads urself?i done it on my last car a punto easy,they said at the service it needs to be done and said £120,with christmas coming up i obviously said no so i am looking to to them myself tomorow,if anyone can help me with this please do.
p.s im chuffed i got a fee MG air freshener :up:

the pads are easy to change....
remove lower bolt (think its a 12mm)
tilp caliper up
remove pads
push the piston back and fit the new pads...
refit the bolt
press the brake pedal a few times before you move
would recomend the ebc pads....

Al !! do u know a reason why my god damn new brakes are squeaking like mad !?

allround greenstuff ebc pads fitted and they squeal like mad ?

getting p1ssed off to be honest as thats why i changed them

mine do to when they are cold....but ok when they are heated up.......did you put some copper grease on the back of the pads?...( i forgot)

They aren't sitting right. Where they sat tight in the carrier? cause thats what usually causes it. Whenever i change pads, i file the edges where they touch the carrier so that they are loose, so much they fall out unless i hold them in. Copper grease the shims where they sit and then re-fit it all. I've had no problems since and the brakes are excellent :)
