Ill be fitting my 620ti calipers today but i noticed while cleaning them that the round shim that clips onto the caliper piston is missing...its missing form both sides...come to think of it the shims that sit on the brake pads are also missing...



could this cause any problems?

would these shims be available to buy in any auto parts shop?

you should be able to buy them from a auto parts shop, but from what i remember pads like green stuff dont need the shims if i recall, My understanding of them is they are used to cut down on any brake squeeling.

yea i guess ill be fine without the shins o the pads but what about those for the piston?

We didn't use the piston shims on my brake upgrade

cool thast all i need to know.....u think they are just a precaution to stop the piston scoring the pad?

Don't worry about them, they are just to reduce squeal.

bloody calipers. Tbh there isnt much of an inprovement.
