Its not gonna be cheap, my first car was a G reg VW Polo, insured third party only through Churchill. I was a named driver on my dads policy, and he has 15 years no claims, cost me £1300.

Second car was my Rover 25, W plate 1.4, insured through Direct Line, cost me £800 named driver with my dad as main.

And for some reason, my 54 plate ZR 105+ is only £650 through Elephant, and thats on my own policy!!!! all-be it with a £500 excess.

Thats me been driving for 3 years, had a different car every year, and its getting cheaper.
