When I had my ZR I didnt bother for about 9 months after getting the avos fitted, forgot all about it but when I did it was ok, its good to get it checked but it doesnt always need doing...

You need to get it retracked as when you lower it you alter the angle of the track rod ends and so alter your tracking

Hi, i got a r200 soon to be a zed replica,
replacing shocks and springs lowering my car about 40mm with 17" wheels on
would it be a idea to roll my arches?
i have had some wear on outside tread on my standrad socks and springs :-s

defo get it tracked after lowering
i didnt, and i nearly paid for it when i got stopped on a spot check and both inside of the tyres were eaten away JUST on legal limit

tbh if your just lowering on springsa up to 35 then thers no real point .


the wheels will naturally lean in when you lower it so yes the inside of the tyres wear more , but thers fuuk all they can really do to change this.

so chances arw youl get it done and you wont really be much better off. Its always good to have it done once in a while anyway :)
